Hubby and I have the most fantastic opportunity to have the adventure of a lifetime. Our friends are getting married in LA this summer, so Cobalt and I thought we’d make a road trip out of it! Honeymoon number two you could say.
We’ll be leaving from Chatt town and stopping at key places along the way. Can you make them out? :)
In addition, to save money, we’re planning on bringing food and camping in the desert. If we hurry, we figure it’ll take us 3-4 days to get to LA, but we’re going to take as much time as we need on the way back to explore. Since I’ve never been anywhere past Texas (I don’t remember visiting Santa Fe, NM when I was a toddler), and I haven’t been camping since I was 5, this will definitely be a new experience for me! I’m looking forward to seeing the places I’ve viewed on TV, in magazines, and in my imagination. Places like endless rusty sand in the middle of no where, cavernous landmarks, and other nationally historic places I’ve yet to see. Lastly (no surprise) I’m looking forward to the food we’ll find across the country. ;)
