Arches National Park After packing up our tent (on the outskirts of Monument Valley, see post about it here), we stopped by the Navajo visitors center to sign their guest book, check out the wall paintings/murals and any historical information. Monument valley On our way out of Zion we saw more of the “giant” rocks (as Cobalt calls them), painted with yellow, white, peachy/orange, black and pink stripes. Other rock textures appeared as we moseyed along, including smears of oil paint from a palette knife. The scenery also continued to change, more notably after a one and a half mile tunnel. The past two days we’ve spent at a Casino in Vegas. Gotta love cheaper rooms!! This morning we joined Aunt, Uncle and Lizzie at Parish of St. Matthew’s for church. It is such a beautiful church, with very cookie-cut and beautiful architecture! For lunch Aunt made waffles, bacon and poached eggs. We ate everything English picnic style, even outside on their back deck! Dinner: Oliver’s spaghetti…mahvelous!
