Today we visited the Petrified Forest in AZ on the way to Flagstaff

Petrified Forest
The actual petrified forest wasn’t as impressive as the desert portion, but still neat considering that these trees used to be wood and now they’re crystallized.
Meteor Crater, AZ
Massive.
570ft deep.
3700ft wide.

Chicken Fried Steak, Grilled Veggies, Mashed Potatoes with Gravy, 2 loaves of homemade bread with butter…with root beer float for dessert…we couldn’t stop smiling and thanking our waitress!
